Fitting Your Leg Bag

Fitting Your Leg Bag

Select a suitable environment to change your leg bag then wash and dry your hands thoroughly.

Take the bag out of its sealed pouch and make sure the tap is in the closed position.

Thread the leg straps through the eyelets at the top and bottom of the bag passing behind the inlet tube and the outlet tap.

Fasten the leg bag in a comfortable position using the velcro tab. The strap should feel secure but not tight.

Remove the dust cap and push the connector firmly into the catheter with a twisting action making sure you have a firm fit.

Wash and dry your hands.
